Long‑Term Rental Management FAQs
What does long-term rental management cost?
Ongoing management starts at 10% of monthly rent. When a new tenant is needed, there is a separate tenant placement fee that covers the time and work involved in finding and placing the right tenant, including inquiries, showings, screening and coordinating the lease and move-in. Final pricing depends on the property and what you need, and we’ll walk through everything with you before you decide to move forward.
Can you take over a property that already has tenants?
Yes. We’ll work with you to understand the existing lease, tenant situation and how the property is currently being managed, then build a transition plan for taking over the ongoing management and communicating the change with the tenant.
How are repairs approved?
It depends on how you want to manage the property. We can handle routine maintenance within parameters you’re comfortable with and bring larger decisions to you first, or keep you more involved if you prefer. If you already have contractors or service companies you like working with, we’re happy to work with them too.
Which areas do you cover?
Our long-term rental property management is based in Metro Detroit, and we may be able to manage properties elsewhere in Michigan depending on the location and the local support the property requires. Reach out with the property address and we can let you know if it’s a fit.
